Birkenhead / Danger Point is well known for the boat tragedy that happened in 1852. A boat named Birkenhead travelled from Ireland to South Africa and struck a submerged rock of Dangerpoint. The vessel carried an estimated 643 passengers and soon after they struck the rock, the boat started to sink. As in the Titanic movie women and children left the boat first before men were allowed to aboard the ship. Out of the estimated 643 passengers, only 193 survived.

A limited number of properties is available in this beautiful area. Currently this is an “off the grid” area with some beautiful seafront properties. You will not find an ordinary size plot here.
